Originating in Queensland in the 19th century, a Jackaroo is a young man working on a sheep or cattle station as a trainee to gain practical experience as a stockman. Our Jackaroo Bunnykins is atop his horse working hard on a station in the bush. Wearing a wide brimmed hat to shield him from the unforgiving sun, he is ready to muster the cattle.
For every Jackaroo Bunnykins that is sold Royal Doulton Australia will donate $5 to Aussie Helpers. Aussie Helpers is a charity operated by volunteers in farming communities around Australia to help fight poverty in the bush. With a profound sense of community spirit, Aussie Helpers visits farming families faced with adversity including droughts, bushfires and flooding and helps them get back on their feet.
